Witeklab-ChatuTech’s project “Safety and efficiency in infrastructures” has been awarded the special mention of the Industry 4.0 Award of Enginyers Industrials de Catalunya (EIC), within the framework of the Industry 4.0 Forum held at DFactory Barcelona, which brought together more than 150 professionals from various engineering disciplines. The Witeklab-ChatuTech project has been distinguished for being “a clear example of our country’s capacity to develop and provide, not just implement, leading technology at a global level”.
Manel Torrentallé and Ignasi Cairó, CEO and CTO of Witeklab respectively, received the award on behalf of both consultancy firms from Pere Navarro, Special Delegate of the State in the Zona Franca Consortium of Barcelona and Pere Homs, Director of EIC.
This recognition adds to the various awards received by Witeklab and Chatu Tech solutions for the construction, infrastructure and civil works industries and also in the field of logistics and control of movable goods, for the collection, transmission and processing of data, which are inspired by the Internet of Things (IoT), Industry 4.0 and smart cities and communities concepts.
